The apartment is in El Kawser (the new touristic area) in the resort of Hurghada on the Red Sea Riviera Egypt.

The apartment is fully air conditioned with two bedrooms, lounge/diner, separate kitchen, bathroom and 3 balconies.  It is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need including microwave, washing machine, electric hob, fridge freezer, george foreman bbq/grill, kettle, ample pots/pans/cutlery/dishware etc, lcd tv in lounge with satellite tv, lcd tv/dvd in each bedroom for watching dvds, Play Station 2 with selection of games, selection of dvds, selection of board games, golf clubs, pay as you go mobile with egyptian sim card.....  There is a sofa bed in the lounge and 2 chair beds so the apartment can comfortably sleep 6.  The apartment is on the 3rd floor (there is a lift) and all the balconies over look the pool.

The apartment is located on a beautiful complex in the new touristic area of Hurghada.  The complex has two large swimming pools along with a childrens splash pool and is situated just off the main esplanade (5 min stroll) which is lined with shops, bars and restaurants.  There is also a water park and a bowling alley just around the corner and the beach is a short walk (20 min stroll) down the esplanade which is totally flat/level or £1 in a taxi!  There are two good supermarkets, a pharmacy and the hospital all within walking distance.

There are many restaurants serving international cuisine on the esplanade along with all the recognised fast food outlets like McDonalds and KFC!  We can highly recommend a few restaurants nearby - Hard Rock Cafe, Little Budha Sushi Bar, Thai Garden Restaurant, The Sphinx Restaurant, Bulls Restaurant, Ranchos Restaurant, The Fish House.... too many to mention!  There is a great variety of food available and you will have no trouble finding something to suit everyone.

Hurghada is a fantastic resort with something for everyone!  There is the bustling old town area 'Sekalla' which is where you will find many shops, bazaars and restaurants along with the newly constructed marina which is truly beautiful.  You can see more information on the marina here http://www.hurghadamarina.com/ there are some lovely restaurants and bars lining the marina and nearby is the Ministry of Sound nightclub for the livlier ones!  Just past Sekalla is Dahar which is where you will experience a slice of real Egypt with the 24 hour food market and traditional Egyptian eateries.

For football lovers you will be glad to hear that the satellite tv in Egypt broadcasts ALL premier league games LIVE with English commentary.  Most of the bars show which ever game they have the highest demand for on large screens and then show the repeats of the other games all week! 

You can fly direct to Hurghada from the UK with many airlines and the flight time is around 5 hrs - similar to the canaries.
